Description

Some time ago, I recall Klaus (Hendessee) had uploaded a field shot featuring wheat. This was shot during my recent film series at Crown Hill Park in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. This is one of the only original fields of wheat that was planted in the late 1800's, hence the towns name :) Canon AE-1, Fuji Velvia 100, Canon FD 24 mm lens, Nikon 52 mm polarizer, Nikon Coolscan IV slide scanner

Thanks for the wonderful comments! Actually, the effects are actually a result of a long exposure as the wind was blowing. The "softness" is due to the new and feathery wheat moving in the wind. The older mature and rigid wheat were not affected as much by the breeze :) Kurt
