This young lady is spinning flax into thread. Taken from the time period of 1700's on what would be considered an German Farm.

I like this - stillness and speed. Reminds me of my grandmother spinning wool.

Now this is an amazing shot! I love the vibrant colours, the clarity and superb composition - I would have probably taken more of the lady into the shot and got half of the impact by doing so!! I love the motion of the flax and wheel captured too. Excellent. xx
