Description

Lavender ~ A shot taken just this past Spring. A bit boring maybe but I thought it was pretty. It wasn't easy bringing out the colors and beauty in this while amongst the field of tall grass and other wild flowers. But I did what I could. Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a nice Monday. Shari

Well I don't think this is boring at all Shari - it's beautiful but then I love lavendar and of course, it's my favourite colour!! You've done a marvellous job of presenting the beauty of this flower without any distraction from it's surroundings. xx

You did a good job getting the lavender to stand out. It's easily seen, but doesn't shout. Not boring at all!

The 3-flower rule works well here. I have to say, photographing lavender is not easy anyway. Its difficult to find it with such good form and with so many flowers open at once and in good shape. Lovely.
