Description

This is the field on the right hand side of the kilometre long driveway to my house - thus it's my front lawn. Boy, am I VERY glad I don't have to mow it. My landlord does that with a harvester when it needs it. He grows mostly wheat.

A wonderful view of... well... an open view of... hey, great shot and I'm glad you don't have to maintain it. :-)

I grew up in the middle of a major metropolis, with a major very busy highway (3 lanes each way) between me and the closest shops. The next nearest being about 5 kilometres away in the other direction. I learned to play car dodgem very early in life. I've spent most of my life in the middle of major cities. It took a while to get used to views like this, but I love 'em. Heavy traffic along the road is when we reach ten cars a day (and that includes the school bus going both ways). I can play my sound system as loud as I like and no complaints, the nearest neighbour, my landlord, is two kilometres away. :-)
