Captured 4/18/07 around 7:30 AM, within walking distance of my abode.
One of my favorite varieties of rose to photograph.

Well if that don't slap you awake, I don't know what would! Seems like that rose got one of its leaves stuck in an electric socket and lit right up. And still you were able to keep definition! Excellent.

Looking at scraggley stumps of wild roses to enjoy the heritage makes the splendor of graft just that much more enjoyable. (In Memory of Leona Helmsley and the Harley Hotel chain) I saw a billboard for them as my last car finally quit on the freeway just past Grand Rapids in 1984. How was I to know that I was at the actual site of the birth of Greyhound. Now if only Fageola would get back from the track so I could find out what I won.
