Description

I made it to the state park I was going too. cost a dallor to get in. I stop and shot some photos and walked around. I needed a boat really to get to the real will places. I just never been here. As one landscape photo guy say ."You have to knmow the land like the back of your hand to find the good shots." I know what he talking about for I go back to places I been before and see a lot I missed the first time. Thanks for looking and comments

I really like the muddy bank on this. The fallen tree, the still water with bug activity near shore. I almost want to reach up and slap the mosquitos off me. Great shot! Love the mood of it.

from a boat would be advantageous but this view is beautiful/ displays old trees being replaced by nature with new up sprouts

Jock, IMHO this is one of the best photos you have posted here. Very crisp and clear. Are those swirls from tad poles?

It is a beautiful capture, Jock. I like this shoreline and water. You take excellent shots of landscapes! You are like me. I will go back many times until I get the shot I want. I think this is a good thing to do sometimes. I am very happy you had some time out with you camera. Have a peaceful evening. Hugs. Di.

could be tad poles or some type of water bugs. I going to have to watch this in the future as to what is in or on the water

I love these kind of wicked tree foliage shots, especially around water. Looks EXACTLY like the El Dorado Nature Center in Long Beach, California. You've seen my photos from around the place so you know what I'm talking about. You're lucky with the dollar admission...I had to shell out five bucks to get into the Nature Center.

Oooh! Jock! Fabulous capture! Love the way the trees are reflected in the water! I was looking for gators at the edge of the shore there, but nope ..you were lucky, none here today! Those old roots and branches along the shore are wonderful textures. Geez I love this shot!

Awesome photography skills shown here! An excelent display of past and present shown, with the fallen tree (past, what once was tall and mighty) and the greenery and slight movement in the water (present, that life goes on). Wonderful! Thank you for sharing this beautiful image. :o)
