Description

This was taken in St Johns College, Cambridge. B&W conversion from raw, levels, curves, hue and sat, brightness and contrast finally dodging and burning. Enjoy :) That's to all the 'clickers' on my previous image.

I get a huge sense of head spinning looking at this LOL! I always thought that these types of shots were "easy" ... just stand underneath and shoot - but I've tried similar shots and I could never be more wrong!! There is so much depth in this capture and your postwork has really brought out all the details. A great play with light and shadows too. Brilliant shot V. xx

Looks good but have you tried to present it in a portrait orientation? thing it would help lead the eye a bit better but still a good job done here... wish I could share some of my B&W work that I've just done... #;0)

Amazing shot so beautiful in black and white. Looks so much like my old house with the wide-planked boards on the left. Wonderful shot and such a cool spiral.
