Description
V6I/P7/PS 7/HEX 2.
This bad boy took just under 100 hrs to render with my 2.4ghz DuoCore and 4gigs of ram and a Nvidia 8800GTX with 768 megs of ram. Of course thats in Ultra mode, soft shadows and a terrain texture under the transparent water.
***Several months ago I contacted Serrge who is one of the modelers at DAZ and asked him if he wanted to model a Sampan boat as there are none on the market for purchase. After two months DAZ offered his Sampan for sale in the Platinum Club. I was so happy a professional modeller like him responded to one of his consumers and delivered the goods. On top of that, DAZ sells it for $1.99"

this has to be one of the most gorgeous renders of all time well worth the time and effort put into it by all parties great work Right now I just finished building a quad core intel system and I really do not like it sure its fast but kinda soulless I waiting for the first true quad core cpu to come out on the market the amd barcelona

yea its always a pleasant surprise to see a response from a hero. and its even better when Daz damn near gives it away for free. lovin the poses of those guys, especially the at ease fisherman's lean the guy in the Conical is doing. he's shirtless cuz its hot and humid. i dunno if i've raved too much over the detail in your pictures but i say again, top notch. i know it aint easy cuz it takes so many elements to recreate something digitally so well. ya can't just slap a boat with some guys in an atmosphere and add water and a plant pack. gettin compatible plant life, weather, props, figurin out how they're gonna effect each other, gettin into the mindstate, the mindstate! of the characters, etc. all meticulous and patient work. well done. i hope your kids inherited that talent, they'll be millionaires :) lovin the fishnet in mid flight fresh from the guy's hands and a high five for having the testicles to do whats necessary despite the long render time.
