The Beauty Of Man & Woman Jake Finds Their Dream Home ~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Now that his Vivian had returned to Chicago, temporarily with a promise that she would soon be putting in notice at the bank, so they could set the date to marry and of course, start their lives together. She'd seen the area, granted, she'd bucked a bit, that's okay - Jake was determined to find the perfect home for them. Their dream home. In town, Officer Lockner told him about ol'man Sparky passing, leaving behind land and property his grown son wanted no part of. Said, he was selling it, "As Is". Meaning, it hadn't been worked in a while and the house, well, it had seen better days ... but it was going for dirt cheap just so he could be free of it. Curious, Jake went out to take a look, his first reaction had been shock. But then, he thought about it, 8 acres of land, big old, well built Victorian style house, yeah yeah yeah, it was needing some repairs and a few buckets of paint would definitely be in order. But... He walked around it, looking inside and out, and within an hour of showing up at the place, Jake was in love. With a smile on his face, he leapt for joy with a resounding, "YIII-HAAAAA!" He'd found their dream home!

DLG- - -> Really good attention to detail. As mention before the reflection on the truck is nicely done and practical to the scene. The blur creates a nice DOF effect too. Nice work, you done good!

DLG :) Lighting and pose are perfect, car-reflection is Excellent!!! The scene is very well balanced and the POV is fantastic!!! DLR: I can see why you didn't blur the house but a slight blur on the centre and a tad less blur on the edges would be just a bit more realistic. (..okies.. Charley runs and ducks now..:)

DLG - Now that's what you call a "unique fixer upper opportunity!" I'll admit I'm not sure if I like the blur or not, but I love the overall image, and the reflection on the truck roof rocks!

DLG Great looking composition. Technically, depth of field would make the junkpile on the left, as sharply focused as the house. But, artistically, this works because it makes the eye go toward the house. Cool

the composition the pov the pose the background the choice of pose and items match your evergrowing story to a T. I also like the depth of field with the blurr effect makes the foreground stronger.. This has Vision Imagination Creativity and Excellence

Very nice! Very well composed! It's so photographic and it captures the first impression moment so perfectly. Brava, Mercedes! And the lighting is excellent with the perfect reflection of his arm in the truck hood; it gives a nice sense of reality to the sun actually being there in the sky. One could not ask for more. :) Be proud!
