Description

I took this photo of LJ and his son, Phil, in the summer of 05, at a beautiful park in Boulder. It's special to me because it was the last time they saw each other, as LJ passed away unexpectedly in the spring of 06. I like how they are looking at one another and how their hands are in their jean pockets.

A precious moment.. True love is eternal and I lost my own father when he was only 53.. I took some comfort in knowing he always lives in me.. I feel sure so will LJ in Phil..

This is a wonderful photo my friend, set in the green and soft light of summer. It always amazes me how son's take on some characteristics of their fathers, like the hands in the pockets. What a great gift to Phil to have captured this day. I imagine you have many memories as your sort throught pictures of your life. Thank you for sharing a few of these with us Carol.
