My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Gorgeous. You tagged this one just right. Good pov and the lighting is marvelous.

I agree with you, I think the whole thing is really silly and completely redundant!!!! we already have a favorites list I don't understand the point of another list of friends??? We seem to have enough troubles with clicks & groups of favorite people, leaving others feeling left out, and we've lost MANY people in the past from these type of ridiculous situations!!! This is just an attempt to copy other popular websites, we really don't need a friends list to add to the mix!!!!!! Now about the photo, I love clematis, they're a gorgeous flower, and this is a beautiful example!!!!!!! Have a great evening...

Lovely clematis shot! I have been trying to figure out the variety, but it's so hard to tell. It was likely a deeper colour in Spring than it is now in late summer, and there are SO many! I love the ruffled petal edges. That makes it very special and you caught it beautifully!

I agree with everything Akemi,( nongo) said. It just doesn't make sense to me. If we didn't have favorite artists, then yes, I understand. But is there now to be a distinction between the two? I want to be your 'friend', but I don't think your work is worth the ebot a fav artist would bring??? And what do we do about the requests from 'friends' that we don't even know??? I don't want to be rude, but none of this makes any sense to me... I applaud you for making a stand. :^) Beautiful capture, btw, soft and kinda dreamy. This clematis reminds me almost of stargazer lilies.......and yes, I know it's not a fan, lol. Sorry for venting... -M :^)

Indeed it looks like a fan!!! It's much more beautiful though;))!

Actually I also dont know what this friend is all about. I got requests from 2 persons, that I accepted, because I thought, there could be any fancy idea behind it. I dont always understand the meaning behind the written words, because of my language problems, soo....

I love the wavy petals and the dappled lighting. Very pretty capture Tara.

Yeah, I agree! We don't need anymore useless stuff layed on our already overstuffed heads. They better not come by with a request for our Social Security and credit card numbers to be shared between our "friends." Ennyway, your clematis is just gorgeous, with the whole image, especially the lovely colors and fine clarity, bathed in dappled light and shadow.
