Description

I found this little plant on the side of the dirt road I live on. It was growing up just beside a tire track in the mud. I thought to myself "this has a beautiful flower" so I took a few shots of it. When I uploaded it into the computer and saw the flower closer, it really is beautiful. So I decided to "rescue" the plant and pot it on my porch. My neighbor gave me a pot and some soil, but couldn't identify the plant for me. We looked in four books about wild plants and flowers in Alaska, and didn't find this one. Thank you for looking. Comments are always welcome and appreciated. :o) ~Row.

I can't help with identification but I think its gorgeous. It appears to have characteristics of a tiny orchid or a mini iris. A love find and a wonderful shot.

I would like to say that a weed needs to be well displaced in a orderly manner. I for once would love if WeedNews.co could give any coverage of such important info. I am sick of hearing the unimportant stuff.
