I watched scorpions in the Utah desert and noted how quick they were. This led later to a demonstration on how to pop open metal ceiling tiles to allow skittering mice to fall to the floor and be pursued in spite of their best efforts and killed with a rubber hammer. It's an illusion. My youngest son told me a story about his older brother's new house having scorpions because the doors did not go all the way to the floor. Time is wise with tales of signs.
