Description

What can I say? This is so far off from the stuff I usually submit. I had practiced some SpongeBob pictures a while back and I decided to draw him a little more. No idea where the poses or expressions came from; I was just winging the whole thing. A while back, I'd bought some Crayola washable markers for my whiteboard calendar, but they didn't work for my needs, so they went into storage. I haven't done anything in real media in so long, but today, I randomly got the urge to use something other than my Adobe swatches and WACOM tablet, and I remembered those markers, so I used them. Thus, this piece was born. I wanted to add more characters, but I just didn't have the right colors. Heck, even Gary's colors are pushing it. But needless to say, I had to add Plankton, even without having the right colors. :D Anyway, the markers really did end up making it pop! It's been so long since I've colored anything on paper that I'm not used to seeing anything I draw stand out on the page that way. So, uhh, yeah. I guess that's that!
