Description

"In the dime stores and bus stations, people talk of situations, read books, repeat quotations, draw conclusions on the wall. ” ~ Bob Dylan

To often the wall is just used to hang art on and rarely appreciated in and of itself. I know that many members here are NOT guilty of that, so for you I post this 'ordinary' wall I came across. I could not decide if I liked it better in B&W or in color, soooo ... As a GIF, the file size got quite large and to make a two frame animation I had to drop the color count down to 34, so the colors got a bit washed out. But I still think it works. ------

Well my preference is the B&W, but then as you say, the colour could have just been washed out slightly during compression. But I DO love the textures you have captured - there is interestingly, quite a lot to see if you look long enough at this wall. A great shot and very original! xx

Well that's the problem with getting old... I thought my bifocals were messing with me again and I was tilting my head all over the place to get a consistant view of this super wall shot...and then I read your comment... LOL. As the song askes, "What kind of fool am I...?"

Cool! It's like watching the sun go through it's day on the face of a really cool wall.

Cor, I thought I had hit the wall when it changed colour on me. This is so cleverly done and even a brick wall can be a work of art. Excellent work.

A very impressive display of light, shadow, textures, horizontal and vertical lines in this shot, which may or may not have been mirrored to achieve this massive effect.

Nice use of light and shadow Kort. The texture really makes the image. I've always like to see artist take a very mundane object and, with a little manipulation, turn it into art. Very well done.

It looks that I have to order a new monitor or to change my graphic card! The screen changes the color after a certain time! LOL Fascinating what you have done here with this color animation! Bravo!!!

Whoa! Solid! makes me come to a fast stop before I bang right into it! I do like the texture, and think what an awesome backdrop it would make for some forms of art around here, poser, maybe?
