Description
We don't often spend any time on a beach whilst on holiday, but because we thought we needed a little rest this year, after our tour of Sri Lanka we spent a few days on the shores of the Indian Ocean. From our balcony we had this wonderful view! The sky was never really clear, but I managed to capture this partial sunset one evening. It is the colours in the sea and sky which I really like about this.
Seeing as it is my **th birthday, I am in a rather a reflective frame of mind and this image seems to suit my mood today.
Many thanks for all your wonderful comments on my last upload and I hope you all have a great weekend! Looks like the sun will be shining on us Brits for a change!

Gorgeous view, sat on the balcony with a candle lit dinner and a glass of your favorite wine, a sky like this and the gentle sound of the waves as they break on the empty beach. What more could you ask for in the way of a birthday gift? A very nice, nay, a very very nice shot of a romanticpeaceful waterscape, expertly captured. How I wish. Bravo!!!!!
