I too was thinking boat at first but there are a couple of things that say if it a small boat it doesn't go out much. First the nails, obviously repair work and the bolt. The large round pole looks like it should be part of a mast rather than support, if it truely is support then there must be more than one deck which could be why nails and bolts were used. I could go on like this contemplating just what I am looking at. Your photos are always a delight to view, always helps to keep my brain cells active. Impressive shot.
