Description

Made this little thing over a couple of days. Decided to do a bio. Making it up as I go. Class: Recon Drone Control: Automated/Remote Height: 120.2mm Weight: 163.4 Grams Max Jumping Distance: 9.76 ft Power supply: hyper solar panel (Charges extremely quickly and gives large amounts of power) The idea is that it has a camera in the middle which can rotate to any position. Firstly the sphere inside the glass casing rotates horizontally and the full glass case rotates vertically. The legs are strong and are capable of launching the bot to a maximum of 5 feet in the air straight up or distance in any direction of around 9.7ft. It is made of a lightweight but extremely tough material capable of withstanding gunfire when in defensive position. Power is supplied by a hyper solar panel located on the under side of the glass casing, which rotates to face the light source. Charging takes 1 to 5mins 1 minute charge lasts 2hrs and 5 minute charge lasts 72hrs. As the solar panel may be left in sunlight the power supply is endless. Created in 3DS Max 9. Model time: Including repeated changes to design 2-3 hrs Render time: 1hr 2mins Hope you like it. Thanks for having a look. Go to redwood19.deviantart.com for my full gallery TOOK SOME SUGGESTIONS. EDITED VERSION WILL BE UPLOADED SOON

I think you did a fantastic job here. Only suggestions I have are as follows... 1. The floor is a bit distractin to me. Maybe something simpler and a bit reflective to see the underneath of the bot. 2.Maybe add some small decals. Logos and decals always make bots look just that much cooler! ;) Great work!! -chachi

Awesome model and render, most of things have been said. I feel this would have too many blind spots, maybe if the camera was mounted above the legs, or on a telescopic lifting device.
