Description

In Dili, capital of East Timor, a ride in downtown costs One dollar. But NEVER asks the price, this show you dont know the conventions. You pay a lot ! Go out, give the dollar ( never change, of course) and dont asking not. But for the price, you have a full decorated car with good and strong artificial smels ! All windows are broken, ever, but its a kind of natural air-com with dusty in prime. But is SO HOT you not complain. You never see the road with so many toys , souvenirs, religious protections, but is better for your heart and your health. Oh, the music is the more important! Taxis are Sound Machines. Brazilian country songs or Indonesian pop in the highest volume. Also if you talk to the driver, he NEVER put off or reduce sound. NEVER, also if you cry like a crazy to talk. Be polite, DONT INSISTE !

so you guys drive with the steering when on the right... My favorite Drummer(Rick Allen of Def Leppard) drives that way... Unfortunately for him he raced an American made car in England, He rolled it and lost his arm. That was more than 10 years ago... He uses his left for for his left arm when drumming. Def Leppard is still going strong, and as a matter of fact they will be in my home state come Sept. 9th... I want to see them, but I don't have the money this time.
