Oh Richard, will you PLEEEEEEAASE show me how to do this!! I am so frustrated with all the attempts I have had at trying to get water to look like this - this is fantastic!! There is so much depth to this capture - it's almost 3D! I love the colours and the textures. I can't express just how much I love this capture!! Excellent. xx
jocko500
water running fast and you shot it just right for movement. I love th land before me

An awesome view. The way the water comes in from the right is unexpected for me. When I look at the lay of the land, it would seem most logical to see the stream come forward from the rear of the scene - as if coming down from those hills. This unexpected direction is marvelous and keeps me looking for more details.

I see you've been sent to some odd places for work again! I love the portrait view Rich. And I think your slight abuse of the thirds rule is great too. Wonderful work with the ND filters and the water too BTW. I WANT THAT LENS OF YOURS!!!

You captured it all in this picture. We have a real Pictorial Buffet here: sky, mountains, valley, water, river rock and tiny flowers. Fantastic!

I have read in several books where sunset and dawn (or overcast with clouds) are the only real good times to take landscape photos. I like to see that you are not limited or held back by such silly rules! Beautiful capture, the water is perfectly framed within this range of hills and mountains, and the sky and clouds themselves are pierced by the peak. A capture like this makes one long to visit such a wonderous land! Magnificent work!
