Description

It is with sad regret that I have to inform you that my poor little Canon has died. This is the only sort of image she will shoot...I have tried everything I can think of to fix her but to no avail....Makes a great abstract though don't you think! lol any suggestions on the problem would be great! sniff sniff.....

It does look cool BUT that is too bad. I have not a clue as to the issue. I hope this does not keep you away too long. The best of luck with that!

Nothin' wrong with the camera -- just havin' a flashback. The hippie likes! ;'] I'm not much good at camera-fixing, Sue. Hopefully, someone will have a suggestion.

Your camera may have died but at least its last act was to produce an interesting abstract!

I am wondering if you do not have a bad CCD chip. My Olympus did something like this and I found out it was on a recall list. I sent it to Olympus and they replaced the chip and it's worked great for the last year. Any ways it is a interesting abstract. Good luck. I would go for a new DSLR myself.

I would certainly get an estimate for repairs before throwing in the towel on it. It could be a $100 fix or a total wreck... you don't know until its looked at.

What on earth have you been feeding that camera?? LOL!! Have you been taking a lot of photos of magic mushrooms or something? This is very cool, but not exactly what you want if you were hoping for something clear, and with more than one color! (I have a friend who had a camera that suddenly started shooting only fuschia. No matter what color the object he was photographing, the pic came out with just the one color.)

LMAO! Congrats for turning the Canon's final image into a neat abstract. Perhaps you have actually captured the "light" we will all see when we pass into the beyond...
