Description

I realize this picture is technically poor and not very colourful and heavily zoomed and cropped and... However, I thought many of you probably haven't seen a hummingbird using its tongue to lick up some nectar. So enjoy, if only for the teeny tiny tongue.

Omg Randy!!! I have never in my LIFE (and I'm OLD!!!) seen this before; a Hummingbirds TONGUE?? I must not have ever thought how they get that nectar from that long skinny beek before; maybe, I thought, they sucked from it like a straw??? lol well, now I know! A hummingbirds tongue ... too funny :)
