Description

Back to my project for Mernac.com and the 13 feminine qualities that define beauty for the Samerzee. http://www.mernac.com/modules/mernac/story.php?id=2307 A little storyâ?¦. Traveling for work can be a pain, but it does have its advantages. I have been waiting until I got inspired for the face installment. Happened on Thursday driving down to San Diego from Santa Barbara. I stopped to walk one of the beaches â?? forgot the name of the town but will never forget the girl I met. Her name was Nani and she was from Tahiti visiting her American father. She was the pure essence of the South Pacific. I could feel the gentle ocean breeze each time she moved her head and those wondrous black locks fluttered across her shoulders. I swear I could smell the hint of ocean each time she batted her eyelashes over the most stunning greenish-gold eyes I have ever seen. I did my best to capture those eyes, did ok - but they still do not do her justice. And body â?? forget â??bout it! The way she filled out that white crocheted bikini would lure Saint Peter from the Pearly Gates to the depths of Hell and be happy with the decision. But that is for a future render. The last couple of days I just had to capture her faceâ?¦ or try. Nani definitely gave me a new perspective on Paul Gauguin. No post work, didnâ??t seem to need it â?? but a bunch of â??pre-workâ?? on textures in Photoshop as I only had 2 base ones with me, one white and one black (hence this weeks earlier work) â?? had a blast playing with all the new morph channels for V4â??s faceâ?¦. and spent endless time twiddling with lighting â?? final render 1 hour 54 mins with a 2% softened shadow map, but my laptop only has a Celeron processor. Only have my laptop with me on the trip so not sure what the result will be, but it looks ok on the LCD screen. Well, my day off finallyâ?¦. Think I will go back down to the beach and admire the Californian â??sceneryâ??. In any case, I hope you like her.
