Description

XD After the scalding acid rain of 3094, Albus was thought to be a lifeless wasteland. Exploratory missions searched in vain for some sign that life had returned. In 3152 the scout ship sent back pictures of a form of plant life growing in the corrosive waters near sector 448. It was a beginning but it would be centuries before sentient life might appear and no one could imagine what form they might take. Thanks so much for your comments on my last XD!

Your new approach with XD leads to new perpectives. Often the kind of software is also deminative for the style of the creations. Your use of (that difficult) XD is a real refreshment. Great work here.

I love this image. And your description is as interesting as the image itself. The item in the render resemble a critter of some kind more than a plant. It sort of looks like a crayfish or lobster, but maybe thats just cuz I'm hungry. Beautiful fractal.

Interesting that maria4scott thought it looked more like a life form the vegetation, because I could have sworn this plant MOVED! I wonder if it's a mutated plant .. part vegetation, part crustacean or insect or something? Certainly not humanoid, or even mammalian, but not totally plant either. I suspect the scout ship didn't stick around long enough, or get close enough to notice that this thing is ALIVE in more then just the vegetative sense! I'll bet it's sentient! You're story lines are really cool!! And the render is wild!! I love this critter!! You're turning into a regular sci-fi kinda gal!!
