Description

Apo, several flames, one being toapp's j00liaN script tweaked a wee bit, and the others way tweaked and mutated versions of toapp's Inner Space and Light Flame scripts. Often I take flames WAY beyond what the script aims at to get the effects I'm looking for, . So, the story is, folks kept complaining about some space station being seen where there was none recorded. They were afraid there would be an accident, that some idiot would land on it or something and get into trouble. So the United Universe troops were sent out to track this thing down. No small feat as it reports were coming in from far flung corners of outer space. It was found eventually, buy sheer dumb luck. They managed to get some shots of it. It never showed up on any of their tracking mechanisms, but some research turned up some interesting facts. There was an outpost that went missing sometime in the late 24th century. The troopers all said this was it, a phantom space station! It slowly disappeared right in front of their eyes, and was reported seen an impossible distance away, across the universe. And that's their story, and they are all sticking to it! And here's one image they got of it! I'm finally caught up with comments! Last nite I quit at around 2 in the morning (yes, this morning) and there wasn't a single ebot left in my mail!!! I want to thank all of you for viewing "Happy Belated Birthday for Claude"! The response was just overwhelming, and that made me so happy because Claude is one of the nicest people and a magical fractal artist, always willing to help anyone who asks. So thank you all, for helping celebrate Claude's Birthday!

Outstanding shot of that elusive space station! Now that it's known what it looks like, unless it's got some kind of cloaking device, all will recognize it when they see it. Hope its inhabitants are friendly!!

I was a little worried about entering this since there was sooo much violence here. This is excellent and the story fits so well. By the way, the three grrrs are always welcome when I have a party. They just have to remember, no chasing Kiki (my avatar), the Queen of the house. ;o) Superbly done. Bunny

Initially I will want to thank all the friends for Rita who wished me a happy birthday at it, and I was astonished by the number of friends who seem to know me! Then I make a point of thanking Rita for having announced me that you were numerous after my passage to wish me this event. Finally I will not be complete if I did not congratulate Rita for his effective support on my work. An artistic community it is also that the friendship of the artists!!! Thank you still dear friend!!!

A lovely shot of this phantom space station with its translucent ring. I wonder how long it will be before someone else spots it. Great story and fractal.
