Recently I attended a local town parade in which many local churches, fire stations, schools and clubs had entries in the grand parade. This is the local chapter of the Red Hat Ladies which is a social organization for women over 50 to mix, mingle and I suppose catch up on all of the latests gossip... I mean news. What I found interesting in this entry is how many women age 50+ do you know would normally go riding down the middle of town wearing a bright red plastic hat with candles on the top of their heads. This group of ladies certainly didn't seem to mind one bit; they seemed to like it and I thought it made a cute shot.
