Description

I want you to look closely at this image!! it was taken yesterday.. The day Summer finallay arrived in Bay! I have never seen the North Sea "looking" so warm. LOL. The light on the water so softly. Such a beautiful day, I wandered all day with the camera.. so lovely to be out and about. Today we are back to chill and sea fret :-( The black dots in the sky are birds, so happy in the sunshine. Mrs Brown's washing was drying well!! I was so grateful for this lovely day :-) I hope you all have a good day. Thank you for looking and for treasured comments. Hugs. Diane.

Lovely picture! In Belgium the North Sea looks like a sewer running over. It must be so nice living in a place without (too much) pollution.

A rich and inviting scene. The first thing I picked up on in this was Mrs. Brown's laundry :-). It gives the shot a sense of real-ness. The sea does appear flat and calm, the slope to the sea is fresh with bursting life in the form of various plants and grasses. It is strange to me to see such rolling green hills this time of year since we have had no rain for months and our hillsides are wheat-colored. Gorgeous place and marvelous shot.

Good day Diane. It is wonderful to see that summer has indeed arrived in your village and even if you did not write about Mrs. Brown's wash hanginf outside, I love the scene. Once again you managed to capture a landscape that I would love to paint. Have a great week. Thank you for sharing. egmont
