Description

St Aiden came to this site early in the 7th century. Soon after this St Cuthbert found God here. Just south of the Scottish border it is still a have of peace. The tide cuts it off from the mainland some of the time.

Wonderful image of a wonderful spot (and a magical place...) The crowds all around are a bit disturbing. (Not only on your photo).

A wonderful pov and compo. I like the introduction to the scene with the beach and water, leading up to the beach and fantastic rock wall beyond. This is marvelous.
