Description

Mullaney and I took her Mom to the Butterfly Farm. A Blue Morpho Landed on them. Mullaney shouted, " Take the picture Nana!" I did. It's naot up to my usual standard, no lens caps or fingertips to add spice, but I thought I'd share. As Julie explained it was a blue Morpho butterfly not a fairy, Mullaney just patted her knee, and said, " Of course it is Mom"

How lovely!!! So often, it's hard to tell the size of the butterfly with only leaves and flowers nearby. This human touch makes it very clear to see how large this is! Wow! Glad you were able to capture this!

Great shot. I knew you and Mullaney would make a great photographic team, lol. This is really a pretty Butterfly. The size and color are just fabulous. I keep seeing pics taken at Butterfly exhibits and would love to get the opportunity to visit one. Alas I am pretty rural in a very rural community and I doubt one will ever be close to me. Good thing there are people who share their good fortune by sharing such great images. Thank you for doing so. Lee

OMG!! This is awesome! You actually saw one this close? Wow! And we know that Mullaney was right .. it may be a Blue Morpho to some grown ups, but us kids (and kids still in our hearts) know better! Methinks this calls for a poem ... ????
