Laying down on the floor with him last night for the last time with him was one of the hardest things I've ever went through... before I got him, everyone warned me how tempermental siamese we're and that I would regret bringing him home..smirks..goes to show you judge the basket by one bad apple. He was the best friend and cat I ever had. He would lay next to me for hours on my bed after each of my eye surgeries..all of my bad days..and all of the good ones. And so I couldn't stand the thought of him going through his last bad day without me there lying next to him. I said my goodbyes last night when Buddha lost his battle with feline luekemia. I encourage everyone that has cats to have theirs tested annually and never take a day with them for granted. Butza went from completely healthy (so we thought) to two visits to the vet in one weekend and having to be put to sleep Sunday evening. All within a matter of 3 weeks.
