Description
Today is a very sad day here at my house...my buddy, friend and 13 yr old companion died this morning. I found him asleep on the driveway...
I will miss him very much as he always had to have the last word and would talk to me all the time and he loved BBQ's, always had to give him something and definately a piece of caramel tart at the end of the night for dessert after it. He was a good listener and would sit with his head on my knee and let me waffle on...I will miss my mate, he was a good boy....so here's to you Bruno, thank you for being my friend !

Awww, Sue, I know how hard it is to lose such a good buddy! And Bruno looks to be everything you said he said he was, and more. He looks so loving, so sweet, so empathetic .. and he looks like he's just the very best listener! And he died at home, right there guarding the house. He's a lucky boy to have been part of your family, and you were a lucky lady to have had him. He was a handsome boy!

So sad to hear about your loss. My Mom's dog just sank down and collapsed on the living-room floor a couple of years ago. I myself keep budgies (small parakeets), one at a time, though this time I got two (named Jack and Gus, after Cinderella's mouse-buddies). I have lost Polly, Winnie, Li'l Elmer and Chip over the past 27 years. My friend in San Francisco lost her 14-year-old small bulldog last year. I can only advise you, like I did her, and myself, to get a new dog (or budgie) as soon as possible. It helps you forget - to some extent - about your old pet.
