Description

I haven't posted any renders lately, but since there have been several spider photos in the galleries I thought I'd put up a shot of this recent visitor on my patio. I shot this on an Olympus SP-350

This is a stellar Widow shot. Hard to believe I used to have some as pets when I was a kid lol!

Yikes! My wife would freak if she saw one on the patio like that. Great shot though...can't argue with that.

You definitely framed a great shot. Hopefully, the next step was taking out that critter; You don't mess with them (GRIN)...

I've got more than my fair share of these all over my yard and in the garage. They are so beautiful but so very deadly. My dad was bitten by one and the result was an horribly painful ordeal that lasted a very long time. This is a very well posed shot and the details are so very clear.

Nice crisp image of the bottom side of this Black Widow. I hope people remember that very very few people get bitten by these and very few of those unfortunate ones (that are bitten) have any serious effects. Many many more people have serious dog bites, or bee stings, or allergic reactions to peanuts than get harmed by spiders. Thanks for sharing. Lee

Super photo! I love spiders, but I have to admit that I'm not sure I'd want to get too close to that lady... Great job.
