Description
Taken at sunset over Wagga Wagga, NSW, Australia at 1746 hours, the moon is partially obscured by a cloud layer - I've never seen anything like this before. Tomorrow, I'll post another one with part of the city showing, this is the telephoto one taken a few seconds later.

Very nice...there's was a lunar eclipse, I'm assuming that's what's giving it that wonderful color....

I think so too, but I've never seen a photo of the moon like this before. I've seen similar shots of the sun on a misty day, but not the moon, and this is clearly the moon - quite different.
