Description

Night after night found her pacing the place where she had last heard his voice. She had dug, futile in the earth with her sword until there was a hole big enough for a horse to hide in. It was no use. Whatever magic that had stolen him, was unreachable. Abria knelt in the cold grass. Tears continued to fall from red swollen eyes, they fell to the ground like salted rain. She cried until there was no more inside her. Without Malik'rex, she felt so incomplete. She screamed silently at the wind, at her unhearing goddess- who had gone as silent as her own voice. It had been a long time, since she had felt so alone. She had left Conrad to manage Drakenfel. In the state she was in, she was in no condition to help anyone. She could not sleep, she could not eat, and her mind was a storm of whirling whispers of what if's. It had been months now. Every day that Malik was gone, killed another hope of him coming back to her. ~~~
