Description

This image, among others will be going up for sale soon...I have decided to sell some that I have posted here and some that I have not posted...However, I spent so much time trying to think of a name for this image...I don't like the one I gave it...if any of you like this image well enough to use it for a backdrop or whatever other reason, please let me know in your comments or email me a name and if I choose the title you choose for it, I will give you this image absolutely free to use as you wish except for resale. My daughter Angel gave me a very nice gift today, she upgraded my membership so that I can now upload 3 images per day if I choose to...now wasn't that a wonderful late birthday gift? Thank you all for your comments on my last image...have a wonderful day...God Bless and Blessed Be. The winner of this image is broken-wings...she chose the name Autumn Mist and as you can see it is has been changed from Pastel Skies to Autumn Mist...thank you broken wings for your feedback.

picture is great - however, the title made me think we were going to see some colors... faint - little disappointed. The trees in proportion to the hills or mountains you have under them have to be huge... My observation - the way I see it.

Wow, fantastical image Marly! Remember one thing about selling backdrops: Look at it for flexibility. For example, this image may lend itself to a flying fairy or dragon but not much anything grounded because not many places to stand in the foreground. So keep that in mind when making backdrops. Also, try not to make too many obvious shadows as it may restrict the artist from getting the lighting to be consistent with their desires. I suggest checking the market place for old or cheap or free backdrops, number of downloads, comments etc, for a feel of market demand. Go visit the Poser gallery, lots of backdrops are used there.
