Description

This is a shot I took before getting help from my instructor. As you can see, it's not as good as the past two I posted. I still like the composition, but I should have used my flash to fill the 4grd. Any hoooooooo. I sorry to say that I won't be commenting for a while. Normally i wouldn't allow comments, but something happened a while back that made me realize I should allow comments. Is RR trying to compete with MY SPACE with this friends stuff?

The composition of the photo is great, even if the 4grd is a bit dark. Yet, it still speaks volumes. Beautiful shot! :^)

I like the compo too, but agree the other 2 images are stronger. Perhaps darkening the upper sky a little? :o)

You should go back there in February when the yucca bushes are in full bloom. A fifteen foot plant loaded with white blossoms is really a sight to see. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ray...Yes, you're right. This isn't as strong as the other two...but you learned something from it, so that's wonderful in and of itself. If it were me, I would've played with highlights and shadows a bit, but that probably would've detracted from the integrity of this photo... As to the friends list...I thought it was ridiculous at first...sooo high school...but I found out it's actual purpose...It should actually be called a 'contact list'...It's designed so you can have easier access to the people you IM...and much easier than going to your own gallery or searching for them on the site... That's all it is. Admittedly, calling it a 'friends' list was a mistake...but I think the powers that be, thought that would make it catch on faster...and to that end, I think they were correct. K. Nuff babbling from moi...Lovely upload and hope whatever turned you off is short-lived. All my very best... M :^)
