Description
It was easy to find Lola's bedroom upstairs. All doors where open except one. I opened it carfully. The room was dark. I switched the light of my visor on and looked around. The room was medium sized and to my anewed astonishment it was not glamorous at all. Two chests of drawers and a brass bed. An open door led to the adjacent dressing room and a spiral staircase led a gallery that was dimly lit by a single bulb. Presumably Lola left this light on day and night.
The only luxury of the room were lots of paintings. Most of them beautiful and probably valuable. One could have been a Picasso. I wasn't sure and I wasn't interested. I was here for the Sparrow.
Lots of paintings but not a single sparrow. Suddenly I catched a glimpse of something strange. Yes, it was empty space where a small picture had hang for a long time. Had Brunetti already been here and catched the bird? I took a second look but the empty space was still empty. I was wondering...
Abruptly I realised what has been only in my subconcious for a few minutes. There was a ripply noise coming from upstairs. Running water? And weren't there faint voices too..?

You may believe it or not - guess, you have to *grin* - that it took me 6 weeks to realise this stupid little sequel? Well, first I encountered a severe flaw in my story and didn't know how to fix it. Then, wasn't it essential that the Sparrow was gone? Yes, it was. Next I was looking for a fitting bedroom and couldn't find one so I finally had to make with what I have in my runtime. In between I had not the least inspiration how the image should look. I was sure about the next one but this here...
Ok, it's settled now, I'm full of ideas for the next parts and will be on it again more regularly. To all those two of you that have really waited for the sequel I apologize and send a lot of hugs!

Thank you for looking! Sorry that the image is so (too?) dark but it's late at night inside a house ya know...

Nice composition and lighting. The clear space on the wall were a painting was hanging is very well done. Great story.
