Description

This delicate and tender flower blooms only for one day, the petals fold in on themselves at evening time and the beautiful bloom is gone. I grow this hibiscus in my home. I took this shot this afternoon. I have been trying for days to get a shot I am happy with. I do grow a hibiscus on my railway garden but it has not bloomed this year. Have a wonderful evening. Hugs. Diane.

Good day to you Diane. Yoour flower images rival top professional photographer as you seem to take great care in the way you photograph them It is more like a portrait, giving the subject matter respect and honour. Once again you have shown us how important it is to maintain detail in the white highlights as the light softly graces this most exceptioinal flower. Have a great hump day. Thank you for sharing. egmont

As beautiful as the bloom is, I have never had an interesting in growing them. They don't seem to like me and I must say I can't blame them... I kill them most unceremoniously. This is just lucious... Wonderful pov and lighting make the petals have substance and bring life to the shot. So you are also an accomplished horticulturalist. My you are the talented one!

A very splendid photo of this frost tender flower. I congratulate you on getting it to flower inside, an excellent achievment. I can't grow these at all here though maybe with global warming I may be able to.
