Description
"Lower (Jihlava) Gatehouse
The Gatehouse was built in the 16th century as part of the fortification system. It is a 5-storeyed construction, 36 metres high. It has a medieval tent roof, the crest of which is topped with an octagonal lantern with a bulb cupola and a flag with a star. The ending is formed by a Renaissance cornice with two square clock faces on top (the clock was probably installed here at the end of the 17th century)."
