Description
My dear friend, rianbows, uploaded an image a little while back that, for whatever reason, called to my muse. Maybe it's just a piece of me missing my North Carolina mountains and the little streams I played in as a child. Regardless, I just had to put this together. Hope it gives you a few moments of peace and escape. Imagine a nice warm day and that irresistible urge to kick off your shoes and stroll in the cool water... and indulge if only virtually. :-)

My knight, I am glad my image called to your muse.. It is a beautiful art work. I love the wee lass in the pink top! She looks happy here, as I would be. I love too her blue shoes!! Shadows and light are superb. It is a place of peace, to be free, to walk and to be safe. I used to be afraid of my shadow when I was a little girl!! I hope you are feeling better. I used to do this sort of thing a lot as a child. Find a stream somewhere, then follow it as far as I could. Sometimes I got lost, and that wasn't good. Anyway, brings back memories.

Wish I too could go back to those quiet days and the cool stream, only in my memory I would be holding the hand of a todler as he splashed water on both of us!! I believe some of those days are still to come!! Love, MOM
