Description
Meet Barger. He's my son's dog and I've had him all summer while my son's been working as a river guide. He's a pit bull mix, and maybe the best dog I've ever been around. He loves people, kids especially, and if you throw ball or a frisbee, he's your friend for life. He has quite a story; one night my son and his friends were hanging out on a nearby river bar and they heard some yelps and squeaking from the water's edge. When they went to check, they found a burlap bag with 6 puppies in it; 3 were dead, and the other 3 made it. Barger came to us that night, about 3 weeks old. And that was after I told my son, "No, no way, no more dogs (we already had my old lab, Pearl), absolutely NOT!!" That was 8 years ago!!

They say rescued animals make great pets..as they seem to sense they have a second chance..so to speak..all of our cats are rescues.. Barger has some nice coloring..your image brings it out nicely...
