Description

I got to take a day off :):):) and so I painted something this morning with a certain person in mind. Outside of the regular meaning, an Ovation is a particular type of guitar. The people that play them will go on for hours about the certain tone and clarity of this wonderful instrument. So this Ovation is for you Normy. I know that you have a special affection for music and this guitar. May it bring music and harmony to your day. Hugs to you all, :) Jilly

This creation has two meanings for me, one I play guitar and I lke the artistic rendition you have given tis instrument, secondly is a bit sad, as I once owned the first Ovation that came on the market with beautiful inlaids and other fine craftsmanship, unfortunately, the instrument, along with my twelve string was stollen many, many years ago. I still remember them as I feel they were my children that were kidnapped. Though I have since purchased a nice jazz guitar only three years ago, I seldom play, the sadness still hurts after twenty-two years. Forgive me Jillian, for sharing a sad note, but know both guitas will forever be in my heart, as will your rendition of an Ovation. Have a wonderful weekend my friend. Thank you for sharing. egmont

So rich with color, texture, and emotion. The ovation has such warm tones. I used to love to listen to LJ play his, as the music always came from his heart into mine. This is a very special artwork for Normy. And how nice you could spend the morning creating something so wonderful. CC

Ohhh..You've stunned me, Jill! I saw the title, and immediately thought of the guitar before really even viewing the image...then found your words...so I'm a little taken aback. I bought my ex one of these many, many moons ago now. And, yes, the tone of one is so unique, that it's a rare occasion that I hear one now and not recognize it. Another lovely abstracted realization from you..and a splendid dedication. It's clear that this one was produced with harnessed energies of thoughts ...which, in my mind, makes it even lovelier still :)
