Description

Our party in the mountain valley was a step back in time which was enhanced by our musician, Becky. I did a double take when I saw her board the wagon with us. She looked like she could have been John Denver's daughter! It was no surprise that her first tune was Rocky Mountain High and she allowed everyone and anyone to sing along. I decided to upload this one with Harry (goodoleboy) in mind. He seems to know a great many of the same tunes I do and I appreciate his sense of humor! Please take time to check out Harry's gallery. P.S. This shot is out-of-camera. The background seems a bit washed out but I think the importance is on the singer and her skin tones, so it makes sense to sacrifice the surrounding area, in my opinion. Thanks for your visits and comments! Jodie

Works well -- and the out-of-focus/washed out background is perfect here as it shows off the subject. The rustic bridge, benches, and cabin (?) are all interesting, too. Another gem.

Well strum up that old geetar, young ma'am, and we'll have a regular hootenanny! Wonderful backlighting and POV in this great image of the John Denver type gal playing her wonderful music. Now all we need is Gene Autry, Cheryl Crow, Glen Campbell and The Sons of the Pioneers for backup, and it's a Rock Mountain High session all the way. Git along, little doggie, git along..... AND, thanks tons for mentioning me, Jodie. That was sweet...I really appreciate it and can use all the recognition and support I can get.
