Description

I present my late uncle's dog. Name unknown. This photo was probably taken by his sister, Comfort Dorsey Smith. She was an artist (one of the original Disney artists who worked on "Snow White" and "Fantasia"). It amazes me that they could get their dog to stand and (sort of) hold this parasol long enough to get the shot. As I work my way through the personal papers and effects of three generations of the Bacon & Smith families, I am constantly entertained by what I am finding, and as with my previous posting, I felt the need to share. Oh, and PS: I should probably add that the photo was probably taken in the late 1920s or early 1930s.
