Nice picture. Since your caption says this is a study of lighting and posing, I'll comment on those. The lighting is very well done. Her pose is alittle off on her left foot. Think about pushing it back and to the side of the rope she seems to be standing on. My eye is drawn there but there should not be enough depth to put that boot on.

thanks all for viewing. ArtLizaed, actually the left leg is not sitting on anything it is hanging free but the angle at which the render was done kinda makes it look like she is resting her foot on the ropes. thank you for your observations. cheers

Ha! A pirate lass! Definitely an interesting pose. I'd love to see that one again, perhaps with another POV, where you can see properly that she's hanging in the air? The water is magnificent! You're totally right that it fits your image. MORE PIRATES!!!!!!! ~Sassy~
