Citizens, allow me to present my card. The Dark Angel's trail brought me here. The Whitby Indcident gave me the lead that I needed.

Hi, I'm Ian. Wife, two cats, motorcycle and a house full of WWII military aviation paraphenalia. I'm a bit of a 'happy snap-per', currently wrestling 'The Camera of Doom', a Cannon EOS 300d, into submission. Began career in an area where photography was part of the job, and it was done largely 'at the run' or through various doors, including helicopter doors. The documentary/narrative style is my forte, and I still prefer to work outside with minimal equipment, although I am now getting accustomed to working in a studio environment, to the extent that I have my own portable lighting rigs. My specialist subjects are bands, (either gigs or promotional) and the Gothic/Alternative scene, but not to the exclusion of anything else. Have worked with other photographers who specialise in the same fields of interest. Still learning to walk as far as Photoshop is concerned. It's a great way to learn about the art of photography, meet all kinds of people and make friends. Hope to make more here.

This is one of those rare shots where the more you keep looking at it the more you keep coming up with different meanings & emotions. Love the over exposure element too.

Nice image on the hoop skirt without the skirt. Attitude and emotion in tandem. Took a few views before I realized that it was not a hoop of the skirt that she was holding, but in fact a Japanese Katana sword. I'd not want to be the one she is hiding from. The Victorian model with the Cameo, and flowers and corsetry speak of delicasy and sensuality, yet the sword and the look in the eyes speak of a deadly purpose. An excelent study in contrasts. I particularly love the lighting, which makes you want to get up close and personal while you look at it. Thank You.
