Description
Well, since I lost my job last week :( and since Rixster won't stop nagging (erm, I mean encouraging *g* - you know I love ya' hon) me to try it... I'm working on my first character/texture.
I'm not too far along with her yet... she still has the default V3 body and this is the only makeup I have done for her yet. Still need to figure out those darn trans maps for the lashes because I don't like how puny these look... I think I need some that are a bit darker/thicker. Anyhoo, I thought I'd post her here and see what you guys think.
Any and all advice, tips, suggestions, etc., are welcome... but please be gentle with me. LOL! I think her mouth looks 'off', but maybe it's just because I've been messin' with it half the friggin' day. o.0

Good grief, hon, she's beautiful! The pores on her skin are so realistic and her lips look wonderful. I can see where you think her eye lashes are maybe a little scant, but they still look fantastic! Absolutely amazing work! 5+++ (sorry to hear about your job, hang in there)

brandi she's incredible! very, very nice first work, since i use v3 most of all, have troubles saving v4 pieces and comming back to them, so i might buy her soon when available and you get her all worked out. lol steve

She looks awesome hun. You did a great job with the make-up. For the eyelashes, the only thing I would suggest is finding a set you like, opening it in Photoshop, and see what is different from yours. Good luck to you hun, and sorry to hear about your job.

Everything takes time and effort...which means patience. your project is off to a great start and with time it will only continue to improve. The hardest part is always concuring being over critical with your own work. keep it up!

That is wonderful work, and makes me wish since I am single out in the middle of the Redwoods with the only half way good looking females being an once in a while female Bear or 2 running by. So where would I find someone that beautiful here?, Naw ain't going to happen ROTFL, but OMG sure would be nice. Love your work Brandy, your such a sweety. 15 from me.

I like the fall coloured makeup and as we don't know what your trying to do with the lips so its only looking "off" to you. As for the lashes all it is if you look at the transmap is thickness of the strokes. If you want fuller lashes make the lash lines thicker on the map. If you want them really thick paint them thick and close together and have them more messy ie: true to life ones dont sit in even straight lines out, they bend a bit left and right here and there (unless ya got falsies!!). My best suggestion is if you do not wish to muck with painting them Victorias has brilliant merchant transmap sets and cheap to boot as well! Good luck on this :)

Well I haven't started messing with skin textures to the extent you have, so I really don't see anything wrong with this one. I do agree with whats been mentioned before, lots of cheap merchant resources are out there. You ought to give yourself more credit, everything you post is fantastic to my eyes, far better than anything I've created yet imo.

Sorry to hear about your job, but your character is looking great. The skin looks high quality and she's very pretty. The hardest bit is deciding when she's finished :-)
