bad news. my computor is out and gone. it died. I lost just one month work. My a drive is gone so I can not boot off disk. So I on this history old computor now. It works and I do have some of my programs on it. I one it now. I did buy a new lap top today. My son talk me into it. Now I can go to the coffee shops and get on wireless. I was on it earlyer and did comment on some works. I hope to have my laptop up and running by tomorrow if not I be on the history computor. it so old it have a cd that takes 24 mintures to burn a cd. no dvd here.
I looked on some of my cd's to find a image to up load. It was takeinf three to four mintures to open up some of the images I saw one and I looked for it and it took one hour to open up the cd's to find what I was looking for. Then I moved the image in brcye and render this. I like it so I hope you too.

I was going to down load a cd with photos so I can look at them faster but the time to down load would be ten mintures lol
I may be off the net tomorrow so I can work on the new computor and download my programs.
I had most my files back up just four was not. i did lost some of my book cover that will be printed. I lost the main cover. I hope the one I sent will be good for it was 8x10 at 288 in a jpeg/ I had the tiffs and photoshop files lol and lost them
oh this computor got window Me on it lol and no protection. I read most of the verses do not ever know Me so I do not have to worry too much.

when I sayfour files i mean to say four folders One has the art work to upload one had brcye and had photos. and one had the book cover that will be printed. Most likely I had arund 400 files lost. I name them like septart07; septbrcye07; septphoto07. This way i can find what i looking for. may not be the best system to file art but it works for me. Hope to find some one to help me.

excellent work Jock and sorry about your puter problems.the manufacturer of your hard drive does recover information from broken drives, but I do not think it is cheap

Excellent render Jock, computers are a pain when they do that, plug and play hardrives are pretty cheap now, ideal for backing up important files. Great render!!:)

Although I have no idea what this scene is supposed to represent, it's an excellent concept with beautiful colors, clarity and lighting effects in this composition. And Boneman nevr looked better. Along with a brand new computer, my friend, you need a multigigabyte external hard drive as a backup for your many files. This is no longer the era of radio crystal sets. The world of computers can be an expensive proposition.

Jock , It's my day to day fear ! My B... F...computer could crash at any moment ! I'm really sorry for you as I could'nt imagine living without my PC aand my lap . I'm crazy 'cause each week I save all my work and my picts on two different mobile hard disks ...That's a kind of paranoïa don't you think ? ;-) Hope you'll get a new one that runs well soon .... Very bad news from your computer Jocko ! I understand this terrible thing !!! Also, one month ago, I have add a removable disk for my computer, because one of my 2 disks was full of 85 %, with onluy programs, because all my pictures and texts were on DVD ! But also DVD is not a good solution. Only a removable hard disk is good, because you are not obliged to use this disk at every moment. So the internal hard disk is a home of your work for several days ! I am very sorry with your bad adventure, dear artfriend !!!

so sorry to hear of your comput problems !! mine crashed all the time and sometimes after i cannot get back on line its frusterating huh? ... well where theres a will theres a way guy it will work itself out intime ...beautiful work of art!!

Here is a suggestion for you Jock. You can get an external hard drive for about 50 bucks for about 120 to 150 gig for backing up your work and just use it for a storage drive for all your work on any computers. You just plug it into the usb port. Thats what I am getting on friday.Well worth it since you only use it for storage that way if your computer dies or crashes you always have your stuff backed up.Cool image and sorry you loss so much work
