Parquet floor with gold edging (floor)
Platinum (rear candle holder)
Brushed Metal (middle candle holder)
Cracked Ornamental Glazed Copper (foreground candle holder)

I have a Quad-Xeon system, so a quite modest 1 hour 45 mins Maxwell render times have improved enormously, but I still love C4D's native rendering engine...

So on my P4 it could take upto 4 times as long? Phew....

I'm in love with the material on the front holder, it's really fantastic. The only thing I would improve is the candle itself.

Turner : Yeah, that's about right, give or take a few mins... Sabra: Thanks for the comment, the Glazed Copper texture is also one of my favourites, not sure whether you mean candle geometry or shader, re: improvement ?

Love the detail levels in the fore object. That material is truely awesome. Is that Wallace from Wallace & Grommet? My only crit is the hard join where the candle joins the holder, but Im an awkward bugger to please :) Very impressive image Angela, glad to see your work again...whatever the medium :)
