Very cool image, but.. what's with all the pieces of bridges? Is this like the elephants graveyard or Whales graveyard? Is this where all old bridges go to die? No wonder it looks so deserted (hehehe) Anyway, it has the right atmosphere for your title. Bravo & Excellent image Marlene . One little question still remains however.. what caused the waffle texture on those nearest rocks? Maybe that's why the place is abandoned? Erupting waffle(vol)canos?..OMG.. Quick.. pass the syrup.. ;) Ok, I got that out of my system.. still, this is a rather neat image.. Hugs from Dave :^)

Hmm, the stark light/shadow work suits the title well. It looks like it could be a rather harsh and unforgiving place - leaving was probably a good idea LOL!
